For a mouth-watering appetizer start with sauteed foie gras, cured duck breast salad with raspberry dressing or crab cakes with whole-grain mustard sauce on mixed greens in balsamic vinegar.
Then select a roast rack of lamb with thyme and garlic, the tender veal chop with sweet pea ravioli or the most popular dish, the seared whitefish with mustard sauce.
An array of desserts is topped by the Grand Marnier soufflé.
If you prefer to dine al fresco, the garden patio is complete romance. Here you are enveloped by the colors of gorgeous fresh flowers, lupe ficus trees and the scent of the sweet desert air.

I absolutely love this place. They have one of the greatest outdoor patios. We had the sweetbreads, filet, lobster ravioli, vichyssoise, endive salad, and vanilla soufflé. All were excellent. I can't wait to come back!

I went to Le Vallauris for lunch after another Food Mafia member recommended it. This could become a new favorite!
The restaurant is off the main strip in Palm Springs and it has an amazing outdoor patio with a fireplace. It is covered by trees during the day and the trees are lit up at night.
They bring over a menu on a stand with the daily specials and they also offer a great prix fixe menu for $35 at lunch.
The beet salad was excellent, the pistachio was a nice touch. The bread they brought out was actually so hot you had to wait to touch it! The main lobster cocktail was amazing and looks like a dish from the Jetsons. Definitely a more modern presentation than I would have expected. I don't even know what to say about the vanilla souffle, it was so light it actually tasted very healthy and good for you!
The service was also great. Attentive but gave you space. I would suggest getting a table on the inside of the patio rather than against the wall of the patio as you will probably see some ants with all of the plants and trees!
