Overview:
While there are plenty of great options in these couple blocks on Randolph, aka: Restaurant Row as fellow Mafia member Jamie and I named it, GEB is a perfect lunch spot. It has a great set up with a small bar in the front and great outdoor dining options in the front and back. The rock & roll theme is also awesome! There are prayer candles lining the dining area with music icons on them, as well as classic records behind the bar and the menus taped on to vinyl.
I loved the fried chicken! The breading wasn't too think and broke apart as you ate it. The chicken is served with a side of very flavorful buffalo sauce and served with collard greens and creamy grits. Even if you're there for a quick lunch, don't skip dessert! The beignets were fantastic! Not too overstuffed with just a touch of chocolate in the middle and they were served nice and warm.
