Overview:

Not your typical diner. Fantastic burger and their take on a ham and cheese--the ham and cheese fondue was incredible. Definitely order that to split with everyone. Beer list was extensive and I discovered a couple great new ones I hadn't tried before. DuPont foret Blanche and the omnipollo Leon are both beers that I can't wait to have again!

Overview:

Not very often do I "favorite" a place after only 1 trip, but this place was just an all around great restaurant. I was here with a group of 5 and we started with the smoked salmon, stuffed calamari, and asparagus salad. All were delicious...if you can only order one and are a calamari lover, this is the one for you!

I had the whole black bass--simply delicious. Cooked perfectly with a nice crispy skin. Other favorites were the salmon and striped bass entrees.

And, dessert--wow! The bread pudding was spectacular.

Finally, if you're a wine lover, make sure you ask if their sommelier, Matt Bradford, is in. Just one test shy of his Master Sommelier certification, he came by our table and shared some great wine stories and recommendations.

Overview:

Kind of a locals only feel with red checkerboard table cloths. Absolutely fantastic prickly pear margaritas. The chips were warm and fresh and the salsa was great. Guacamole was just average. Chicken mole had a great sauce and flavor, and the lobster tacos were delicious.

Overview:

Big Star is a great place to grab good drinks and good food. We went on a Sunday and spent all day trying the different items on the drink and food menus. Highlights were the pork belly tacos, fish tacos, and the queso. I would order all of those again.

The patio is great for a nice day. The booths inside are large but typically require a larger party.

Overview:

Great, unique space, very small so expect to wait. Sign you name on the list outside to get a seat. Dinner was great and the beer menu offered a unique selection. The lamb shank could be a little on the dry side for some people but it had great flavor.

The space is very small so don't take large parties. They didn't serve grilled cheese at dinner but with the bread they make it has to be amazing.
